Job Description:Key Responsibility Area Team Management 1.Lead and Manage the Team of Sales Managers, Sales Officers and Merchandisers to achieve business objectives. 2.Recruiting, training and development of the field functionaries to ensure sales and operational efficiency. 3.Identifying the training needs and planning/imparting training programmes to sales associates. 4.Exceptional skills in communication, presentation with demonstrated abilities in training, team building and driving front liners / sales officers to achieve goals 5.Ensure the team is fully aware of their roles, responsibilities and monthly priorities 6.Ensure the team is adhering to work timings, daily report submissions and professional approach to all customers. 7.Set objectives & amp amp Priorities for the Team. Consistently monitors performance & amp amp progress to Goals. Planning & amp amp Management 1.Identifying potential markets/dealers, trade opportunities & amp amp recommending new business development plans. 2.Preparing the product-wise, segment-wise, area-wise and dealer-wise sales forecasts for the territory assigned on the basis of historic data / marketing size and sales trend. 3.Monitoring the stocks inventory sales and collection on a daily basis and providing necessary support to the team for successful achievement of the business plan. 4.Planning in advance the BTL activities (schemes, wet samplings, CCPs, etc.) which suit the local market. 5.Formulating monthly tour plan & amp amp schedules for team members for better coverage of territory and frequently meeting trade partners. Business Development 1.Interacting with all MTs category heads on regular basis for generating maximum sales volume. 2.Identifying opportunities for corporate sales & amp amp institutional sales. 3.Interacting with Marketing & amp amp Brand Development Department on regular basis and coordinating all activities with them in terms of POPs, wet samplings and other brand development initiatives. 4.Keeping track of local events and celebrations to explore the possibilities of getting associated with it to improve brand image and sales. 5.Ensuring successful launch of new products by taking care of pre deliver inspection, product introduction, USP brief, price and scheme guidelines. 6.Planning and execution BTL activities in coordination with marketing, sales and service team members. Channel Management 1.Providing complete assistance to the dealers within the assigned territory to ensure secondary sales for e.g. timely product supply, brief of product USP, price structure, and advertisement material supply. 2.Ensuring that all the communications are documented to avoid any verbal commitments given to channel partners on account of product pricing, schemes, cash discounts, sales-collection linked benefits, etc. 3.Serving the requirements in the quickest time to ensure dealer satisfaction on issues pertaining to customer service, logistics, accounting, etc. 4.Endeavoring for settlement and recoveries of old & amp amp disputed accounts. 5.Appointing demonstrators at dealers counter taking into consideration outlet-wise targets and opportunities. Training & amp amp Development / MIS 1.Arranging to provide product basics training, demonstrators performance tracking for timely decisions. 2.Educating the team on the trade schemes, consumer offers, price circulars, etc. for greater clarity. 3.Preparing MIS reports based on product performance, feedback on quality, competitors network, schemes, promotional activities, pricing, product launches and regularly communicating the same to the management. 4.Generating and submitting all prescribed reports (daily sales report, dealers outstanding tracking report, dealer-wise, town-wise target vs. performance and old recovery settlement status) for every cycle.
