Job Description:PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES The Objective of the Digital Transformation Office (DTO) Enterprise Architecture team is to drive value-driven enterprise strategy, architecture and roadmap jointly with customer based on their business strategy and desired outcomes. This is supported by a focus on Architecture thought leadership and connecting the dots between organizations business mission, methodology and processes to IT strategy and establish in-depth documentation on how existing and future requirements may be accomplished in an effective, agile and sustainable manner. This team will lead and/or support the execution of Digital Transformation Engagements for strategic or select key segment customers jointly with other VAT team members from DTO. ROLE EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS Ability to collaborate closely with the VAT to understand customer strategy & amp amp requirements and help define the account plan, solution portfolio and architecture strategy Connect the dots between customers business strategy and technology enablers, driven through value-based solutions and architecture strategy. Familiar with TOGAF and experienced in delivering artifacts in multi cloud environment, not limited to Current and Future State Architecture, Customer specific transformation roadmap, Solution Capability Maps, Application/Data/Technical architecture and high level migration/transition plans. Ability to lead architectural discussion in e.g. executive meetings, discovery sessions and technical workshops to drive broader solution value and strategy and presentation of recommendations to customers Possesses extensive Customer facing experience with a consultative mindset. Ability to serve as trusted architect/advisor to both Customer and SAP Executives Possesses minimum L1 knowledge across a broad set of SAP solutions encompassing Core, LoB/cloud and Platform Solutions Maintain a close understanding and appreciation of competitive solutions and Open Source Technologies. Ability to stay current on the SAP roadmap, architecture strategy, customer successes, and value proposition across SAPs solution portfolio. Actively participates in the solutions HUB of their primary and secondary specialization Assist Industry Account Executive with initial BOM development to ensure alignment with proposed architecture. Proactively influence Innovation based solutions/use cases to expand the conversations beyond ERP and effectively position the SAP Intelligent Enterprise. Incorporate design thinking approaches where appropriate Evangelize the SAP Brand thru alignment and speaking engagements with SAP User Groups and external influencers. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Education Master equivalent (MS/MBA): preferred Good broad knowledge of SAP solutions and Open Source technologies Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture concepts TOGAF Certification preferred Required skills In-depth understanding of SAP corporate strategy, solution portfolio and broad architecture plans Leadership skills in driving VAT engagements to define the target state architecture and roadmap Enterprise Mindset to help craft the end state architecture and roadmap to getting there Strong presentation and communication skills, combined with an entrepreneurial, creative, and innovative mindset Preferred skills Self-starter motivated to learn & amp amp problem solve through complex challenges Executive communication of the defined Roadmap and Architecture in context of Value and Business outcomes Ability to conduct Executive visioning sessions that create a common view of the art of the possible Innovation in incorporating new thinking, skills, and approaches to engaging & amp amp delivering customer events. WORK EXPERIENCE Minimum 8-10 years in relevant strategic consulting/presales roles Minimum 3 years leading complex customer sales engagements Experience in working and presenting to C level executives in both IT and Business. LOCATION EXPECTED TRAVEL 80% focus in based country and up to 20% across APJ.
