Job Description:Manager - Category Marketing - eCommerce (4-8 yrs) We have a mandate to close with a leading Ecommerce Giant. Below are the details of the position: POSITION: Manager - Category Marketing FUNCTION: Marketing LOCATION: Mumbai THE CONTEXT: Client is a 100% subsidiary of Client' s Industries venturing into e-commerce with focus on building an Omnichannel Market Place model. The initial focus would be on partnering with various sellers in the categories of Lifestyle, Electronics etc. This position is critical from the overall context of Omnichannel being the key differentiator in driving the customer value proposition. Job Description: Key Deliverables Category Marketing & amp amp Business Planning - Responsible for the planning, development and performance of the online category business targets, working with key functions like commercial, tech, merchandising etc within the organization as well as external 3rd party agencies. - Develop Joint Marketing Plans and Promotions Calendar (Onsite & amp amp Instore when required) as per business targets - Sales and Web Analytics on Category wise and Seller wise performers to identify trends & amp amp business insights - Liase as the SPOC for seller' s senior leadership to share ecommerce based learnings for their brands and co-create digital marketing campaigns Category Activation Onsite - Development and execution of daily/ weekly onsite campaign to drive the business. - Prepare and execute planning calendar for each season, promotions and mailer campaigns - Allocation and presentation of merchandise within the e commerce site based on thematic and tactical campaigns to maximize sales. - To plan and drive entire web content management, which includes tactical banner creative, communications, brand microsites, listing pages etc. - Set KPI benchmarks from web analytics to measure conversions and course correct plans Site Optimization: - Regularly review customers- journey through the site recommending adjustments in order to enhance conversion rates - Ensuring constant update of new technologies and strategies to ensure the brand remains at the forefront on sit. Should have a deep knowledge of using various ecommerce back end platforms to manage day-to-day onsite operations. - Ensure all information copy, product and non product within a category is current and accurate. - Budget management including all creative and shooting costs required for promotional banners and oversee execution through the content team.
